Spike Camp

Spike Camp

Our rolling lodge is truly an angler’s dream, bringing ChileTrout hospitality to the shores of some of our region’s most remote and exclusive water.

Our custom-built «spike camp» allows us to fish long days on some of Patagonia’s least-touched waters. We’ve installed our rolling lodge at a remote lake several hours north of Coyhaique, where enormous brown trout lurk just beyond the reeds. The space includes four beds and a kitchen area. Outside, we’ll make a fire in the traditional Patagonian style, roasting our meals over the open flames and sharing coffee and traditional mate as we watch the sunrise over the lake. From there, it’s a 50-foot walk to the shore, and the fishing begins.
